this is a short film i made in san francisco with spoken word/performance artist Chris Sia and Eugene Steele. It started out with Chris reading a list of all of these wartorn places in his van at Burning Man last year, and then he asked me to help him make a video, so we dug out a ton of samples and went to town.

our crew is A.P.T. (armageddon prevention team) and Kontrabrand is top secret, but suffice to say, you'll hear about it in the near future if you follow what i do at all.

Help is needed for Susan Lindauer

Some of you may remember, in March of 2004, Andy Card's second cousin being arrested for letters she wrote to him conveying infomation from Iraq diplomats. Because of those letters, and her accepting expense reimbursements for trips to meet with those diplomats, the Bush Justice Department accused her of being an unregistered agent of Iraq Intelligence Service. Currently, she is in prison without having been tried and convicted.

Her court appointed attorney and the prosecutor agreed to argue that she was incompetent to stand trial. The court then sent her to Carswell FMC, in the Federal Bureau of Prisons to see whether she could be made fit for trial. Last Thursday, a hearing began in Judge Mukassey's Federal Court, the Southern District of New York, to approve the Justice Department's request to forcibly medicate her. Obstensibly, this is to render her fit for trial. However, it is somwhat clear they have no specific diagnosis for her other than "psychotic not otherwise specified" and literally proposed, in court, that as they could not determine a cause for her condition could only treat the symptoms. It gets worse. They went on to describe medications that had been proven 50% effective in two studies treating similar symptoms of patients with different diagnosis: one study with 15 people, another with only 1. Under cross-examination, they admit that some of the side effects of such medication are known to be fatal.

It seems that the Republican party and the Justice Department, in order to punish somebody who had the temerity to work for the end of sanctions and the suffering it was causing in Iraq (she had studied under a professor at Smith who argues against the effectiveness of such methods), is attempting to do to Susan what they did to Martha Mitchell during Watergate.

We need donations.

Liz Fink, a famous lawyer who defended the Attica inmates and recently won a substantial judgement for them, is interested in representing Susan. We need to raise about $25,000 so that she can say that she really is Susan's attorney, and so that we can get the public defender whose poor choice of a twinky defense (over Susan's objections and requests for a regular trial and traditional defense) out of the mix. We also will need the funds to get her into a Private facility, somewhere, and that can run another $100,000 a year! But first things first.

There are thousands of good people who could potentially lose their lives very soon.

Since the release of the information on the Sujiatun concentration camp in China, which is reported to do live organ harvesting on Falun Gong practicioners. More people have been stepping forward to reveal information. Recently, a veteran military doctor in the region of Shenyang said that the Sujiatun Concentration camp is just one of 36 such camps. Another camp in Jilin Province referred to as 672-S is said to hold over 120,000 people.

According to the Integrated Committee's announcement, transplant hospitals in China are now telling patients to "come in quickly" to get transplants. Patients are told that matching organs can be found at this time in as short as one or two days. The hospitals are also reported to say that, "it will be difficult after this batch of organs is used up."

We fear that there is going to be a mass execution to “hide the evidence” and get rid of witnesses. PLEASE HELP us, Falun Gong practitioners around the world are requesting an international investigation while there is still time.

I Quit! I tried to do what I thought was right and be a good Activist. But then I became aware of the agenda's of the people running Activist Organizations, and found them to be as wrong as what I was opposing. In a day and age when Democrats allow Republicans to blatantly hijack the nation, and Activist Organizations are run by old men that stay safe inside while sending droves of young people to be arrested, I choose to not be used by either side. i just recently got the Spring '04 issue of Paranoia Magazine, which contains an article in which one Hartford Van Dyke claims authorship of the manifesto Silent Weapons For Quiet Wars, a much-circulated & published treatise in the public domain on elitist authoritarian social control. Van Dyke states that his purpose was to expose the sociopathic nature of the elite controllers (as if such a thing is news to anyone who is reasonably awake).
some years back, Van Dyke wrote a book on the attack on Pearl Harbor called The Skeleton In Uncle Sam's Closet.
Paranoia Magazine itself frankly is a mixed bag the content of which varies widely in credibility.

Peak Oil is the nasty surprise on the other side of the oil production curve. The chances of anyone instituting any sort of large scale alternative energy production scheme in time to compensate are pretty slim. Lets learn about peak oil:

"The situation is so dire that George W. Bush's Energy Adviser, Matthew Simmons, has acknowledged that "The situation is desperate. This is the world's biggest serious question." In an August 2003 interview, Mr. Simmons was asked if it was time for Peak Oil to become part of the public policy debate. He responded:

"It is past time. As I have said, the experts and politicians have no Plan B to fall back on. If energy peaks, particularly while 5 of the world’s 6.5 billion people have little or no use of modern energy, it will be a tremendous jolt to our economic well-being and to our heath - greater than anyone could ever imagine."

When asked if there is a solution, Simmons responded:

"I don’t think there is one. The solution is to pray. Under the best of circumstances, if all prayers are answered there will be no crisis for maybe two years. After that it’s a certainty."

It's not just Simmons sounding the alarm. According to Secretary of Energy Spencer Abraham:

"America faces a major energy supply crisis over the next two decades. The failure to meet this challenge will threaten our nation's economic prosperity, compromise our national security, and literally alter the way we lead our lives."

The statements of Vice President Dick Cheney have been equally alarming. In late 1999, Cheney stated:

“By some estimates, there will be an average of two percent annual growth in global oil demand over the years ahead, along with, conservatively, a three-percent natural decline in production from existing reserves.”

Cheney ended on a disturbing note, “That means by 2010 we will need on the order of an additional 50 million barrels a day.”

This is equivalent to six times the amount of oil produced per day by Saudi Arabia, the world's leading oil producer.

A report commissioned by Cheney and released in 2001 was no less rosy:

“The most significant difference between now and a decade ago is the extraordinarily rapid erosion of spare capacities at critical segments of energy chains. Today, shortfalls appear to be endemic. Among the most extraordinary of these losses of spare capacity is in the oil arena.”

It's not just members of the Bush Administration who are extraordinarily concerned about Peak Oil. Avowed leftist and democratic demigod Michael Moore believes it to be a life and death issue for most of the industrialized world's population. In his most recent book, Dude, Where's My Country?, Moore dedicates an entire chapter, "Oils Well That Ends Well" to the wholesale and unprecedented suffering the industrialized world will soon endure if people don't wake up to the reality of Peak Oil.

On a similar note, former UK environmental minister Michael Meacher stated, in a recent issue of Financial Times, “It's hard to envisage the effects of a radically reduced oil supply on a modern economy or society. The implications are mind-blowing.”

Anytime three members of the Bush Administration are in complete agreement with Michael Moore and a high ranking environmentalist, it's safe to say the sh_t has hit the fan."

Oil supply 'cannot match demand'

Producers insist they are struggling to keep the market calm
The perception that oil supply cannot keep up with demand has fuelled another jump in prices around the world.
London Brent crude rose another 59 cents a barrel to $37.95, while US crude futures hit $40.92, close to their all-time high of $41.15.

The trigger was oil cartel Opec, whose president effectively admitted being powerless to cool the market.

A White House spokesman said the Bush Administration was urging oil producers not to act in ways harmful to the US.

Opec cartel president Purnomo Yusgiantoro said member states were already being allowed to produce well over their quotas, but oil prices have not steadied.

In fact, major oil producing countries are adding an extra 2 million barrels per day - 2.5% of worldwide demand - without having an effect on prices.

Kuwait steps in

Kuwait's energy minister came to the rescue by promising the Gulf state would pump extra oil.

Sheik Ahmed Fahd Al Ahmed said Kuwait would produce up to 2.4 million barrels a day, breaching its Opec quota by 600,000 barrels.

The International Energy Agency (IEA) said on Wednesday that Opec members were not pumping their full quotas. It identified 2.5 million barrels a day of spare capacity among 10 Opec nations; roughly half of it is in Saudi Arabia.

The current strength in oil prices, which have risen by one-quarter this year alone, is partly to do with old-fashioned supply and demand.

Buyers and sellers

There are supply concerns in the Middle East, where political instability is seen as a threat to oil output.

And markets such as the US, the world's biggest oil importer, are proving far more thirsty than analysts predicted, especially as the peak summer driving season gets into gear.

Latest oil price data

The latest weekly figures show US petrol stocks fell by at least 1.5 million barrels in the last seven days, the American Petroleum Institute said. The figures will add to pressure for prices to rise.

White House spokesman Scott McCellan said the US president "remains concerned" about rising petrol prices and that the US has been lobbying oil producers "not to act in a way that would harm our economy".

The IEA has raised its forecast for 2004 global oil demand growth to 1.95 million barrels per day, despite generally slow growth in developed economies.

Crucially, say analysts, the traditionally close relationship between demand and supply has partially broken down: for technical reasons, a number of the world's biggest producers, particularly outside Opec, have been unable to increase output significantly, leading to higher prices.

Technical hitch

There are other, more subtle factors at play.

The current surge is not just to do with consumption
Nowhere near all of the apparently increased demand is connected with increased consumption.

Instead, it seems that major buyers - especially governments - are stocking up on oil, possibly to guard against any disruptions to supply.

The US strategic petroleum reserve has been a particularly active buyer, and governments such as China and India have followed suit.

At the same time, traders in the futures and options markets have anticipated a tighter market by bidding up forward prices.

Analysts are now divided between those who believe prices will rise as summer continues, and those who say there is no fundamental justification for prices to remain high for long.

THE TIME TRAVEL TALE OF JOHN TITOR

Although there is debate over the exact date it started, on November 02, 2000, a person calling themselves Timetravel_0, and later John Titor, started posting on a public forum that he was a time traveler from the year 2036.

One of the first things he did was post pictures of his time machine and its operations manual. As the weeks went by, more and more people began questioning him about why he was here, the physics of time travel and his thoughts about our time. He also posted on other forums including the old Art Bell site. In his posts John Titor entertained, angered, frightened and even belittled those who engaged him in conversation.

On March 24, 2001, John Titor told us he would be leaving our time and returning to 2036. After that, he was never heard from again. Speculation and investigation about who John Titor was and why he was online continues to this day.

Although it may be easy to dismiss all this as science fiction, most people who read his posts agree that there is something very haunting about John Titor and what he said. In addition, and open to more debate, he also made a series of predictions and comments that eerily seem to be coming true.

Unfortunately, I never spoke directly to John Titor but there are many out there who have and continue to wonder about their experience. As you get deeper into this site, you will find his posts, links to other sites about him, downloads and speculative information attributed to him after he left. I have taken the posts and organized them by date and subject. My editorial work is copyrighted but the unedited posts and the people who experienced it are in the public domain can be found on other sites listed inside.

As you read, please try to keep two things in mind:

1. John appeared to answer nearly every question that was asked of him over the 4-month period he was online. Because of that, many people neglected to read the previous posts and asked similar or exact questions he had already answered. It may offer a glimpse of what a time traveler goes through when having the same conversation again and again.

2. These posts were written before 9-11, the Columbia accident and the second Gulf War. Many people believe John may have known of these events and dropped clues without actually referring to them. We have to hand it to "holy land", no soil was ever so fertilized in human blood.

The area of Judea/Palestine has had an unbroken history of bloodshed, from virtually prehistoric times when Egypt and Mesopotanian civilizations were a pretty new bright idea... through many empires stamping back and fourth, fighting over it like a dogs playing "tug" with a sock. No rest from the blood after the Romans even, for then we had waves of Moslems fighting Christians, Gnostics, Zoarastrians, Pagans... etc. Later crusaders fighting everyone there... then even later Moslems fighting Moslems (Ottoman Turks vs Arabs) over that fun little place... and now presently the mess we have between Isrealis and Palestinians.

Man does it make me want to go there and try to restart the cult of Baal worship among Isreali and Palestinian ravers and trance fans!

Now my question is this, and I won't give my idea until I have heard a few others....

What would it take to stop people from killing eachother over that spot of land? If that land has never had peace, then is anyone really bold enough to think that they can create peace there?

Do you know about the God Helmet? I really want to make one, you can just load .wav files of various brain waves into it and away you go! LTP on the hippocampus + emotional bursts form the amygdala = sweet synaptogenesis, but is it safe? Would you use up all of your neuronal growth factors for no reason?

I believe that most entertainment is a waste of time. The game that I play is the game of life. I believe in living the here and now. I believe reality is important enough to never leave it.

I do not own a TV. I do not have satellite, cable or DVDs. I do not get a paper or entertainment magazine. I do not listen to the radio except for the news and some limited talk radio.

Do I qualify as an extremist?

I'm referring to England here, but I imagine the same goes for any country with a benefits system that apparently *favours* the "spit the little mewling rat-faced cockroaches out, dear, we'll pick up the tab" approach.

Also, I do mean within reason, i.e. the same kind of dispensations as exist in other applicable areas of law, and assuming some kind of grace period so that there really is no fucking excuse. If you're going to argue, please don't go the whole polar-extrapolation route / Hitler too early :)

Close to what I want

I imagine a world like Aeon flux,

Walls worming back and fourth, two worlds intertwined like intestines in an endless city. One like Roadwarrior's Thunderdomed anarchistic violent leatherclad orgy, the other a transhumanist science experiment run by neo-fascist James Bond villians. Who wouldn't want a taste of both worlds?

Both world would be opposed, and yet work together to preserve themselves by preserving each other... and their porous seperateness.

Heck why just have two intertwined worlds in that city, anyone else read the Sci Fi book "only Forward" that is the future I am fighting to help create. Let it be a multiverse of strange.

The Megopolis from Boston to Washington and Philly with NYC at it's center still has a long way to go... Anyone else interested in degenerating it's sprawl to resemble such?
